Dental History: This person's primary concern is the misalignment of her teeth. Of course the two lower center teeth (central incisors) are somewhat crooked. Additionally, on her upper arch the two teeth to either side of her center two incisors (the lateral incisor and canine teeth) are misaligned, in the sense that you would expect that their biting edges would be lower and more in line with the biting edges of her center two teeth.
     Actually, because the misalignment of her teeth is bilaterally symmetrical (the same on both sides) the appearance of her smile is more pleasing, and the irregularity less noticeable, than if either side was misarranged independently.

Cosmetic Dentistry Treatment Plan: This patient's picture suggests that her teeth and gums are sound and healthy. If so, a wonderful way to approach this case would be to realign her teeth via the use of orthodontic treatment (braces).
      Another approach would be to change the shape and alignment of specific teeth by way of placing dental crowns, or possibly dental veneers, on them. The patient's bite would play a big factor in determining which of these two types of restorations would be the most appropriate for which teeth.
