A cosmetic dentistry simulation illustrating a makeover that utilizes porcelain veneers.

cosmetic dentistry makeover

Dental History: It's easy to imagine that this person's smile would look nicer if his center four teeth were wider.

Cosmetic Dentistry Treatment Plan: Our after picture illustrates how this person's smile could be changed by making major shape changes with his four center upper teeth and then some minor shape changes with his two upper eyeteeth.
If you will look at the biting edges of these teeth in the "before" picture you will see that they appear to be chipped and worn. This implies that this person clenches and grinds his teeth. If this is true then the shape changes we have illustrated may need to be made by way of placing dental crowns, as opposed to porcelain veneers, because dental crowns have greater strength. ( What is the difference between porcelain veneers and dental crowns? )
