Instructions for using Animated-Teeth.com' dental quizzes.

A quick overview.

For most people (unless their web browser has been configured so to prevent this action), clicking on the name of any one of our quizzes will initiate a single instance of that quiz in a new browser window.

When a person's work with a quiz has been completed, the quiz may be terminated and the window housing it closed by way of choosing the "Quit the quiz and close this browser window" option. This option is found on the last page of each quiz.

An explanation of the different user options presented at the end of each dental quiz.

At the end of each of our dental quizzes you are presented with a few different options from which to choose. Here's a listing of these separate selections and an explanation of situations where each might be chosen.

Restart the quiz.: As one might anticipate, this option reinitializes the quiz for a fresh start. All previously entered quiz answers are deleted from the quiz's memory.
Show the correct answers.: If chosen, this option will redisplay each quiz question, sequentially, with its answer choices. The correct response for the question will be identified with a white check mark. If the quiz taker has answered the question incorrectly, their answer choice will be identified with a red x.
Quit the quiz and close this browser window.: For most quiz takers (depending upon the precise settings they have chosen for their web browser), when any one quiz is chosen from the list of quizzes shown on our Dental Quizzes Home Page, their computer will open a new browser window for that particular instance of that quiz. (This allows that any number of different quizzes, or instances of the same quiz, may be open and be ready for use at any one time). Once the quiz taker (or group of people who would like to each participate in using the same instance of the quiz) has finished, this option closes the quiz's browser window. Any and all other instances of all other quizzes that have been opened in other browser windows will remain open.
Return to Animated-Teeth.com's Dental Quizzes page in this browser window.: Some people may have their web browser configured so that a new browser window is not opened when a quiz is chosen from Animated-Teeth.com's Dental Quizzes Home Page. Instead the quiz is opened in the same browser window that the home page previously occupied. If this is the case, once the person has finished using a quiz this option returns the person back to the quizzes home page so another quiz may be chosen.
This option may also be chosen if the current instance of the quiz was opened in its own new window and the person would now, for whatever reason, like to keep this window open yet select and take a different quiz.
