We'd anticipate that it is a battery issue but don't know.

If that's the problem, there is no official Oral-b fix but there are some companies (eBay) that offer battery replacement. However, once that repair has been completed a brush is no longer as water tight as it was before.

If you've had this brush a while, it might be time to punt.
